CNC Setter Operator

Shorterm group are currently working with a world wide known manufacturer who produce components and products for aircraft interiors. In their Southend site they are looking to take on a CNC setter operator to work in their machine shop.
The role and requirements:
Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits.
Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales,
Responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required,
Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture,
Responsible for mentoring new staff as required,
Responsible for maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times,
Responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paper work is filled out correctly,
Must haves:
Ability to read engineering drawings, set CNC Milling machines and use measuring equipment
Matsuura CNC Machining Centre experience desireable.
Ability to edit programs
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Pay Rate: £12.50ph - £15ph
Shift: Days, 39 Hours:
Mon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)
Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)
Location: Rochford
Night shift is potentially on offer at 1.5x pay rate premium. (£18.75ph - £22.50ph)
Permanent, full time position.
