Seven Resourcing is seeking a Community Navigator to work in Haringey, Greater London. This role is full-time, temporary and is paying £15.24 per hour.
**The role**:
You will work collaboratively as part of a committed team to deliver outstanding service and personalised support that puts customers first, empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
You will be required to work in the community and visit customers in their own homes. The customers you work with will be facing challenges and may be at risk of becoming homeless.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide personalised, one-to-one support to community members, helping them identify and access services and resources across Haringey.
- Guide clients to the most appropriate services, including healthcare, housing support, financial assistance, mental health services, and social activities.
- Develop strong relationships with local organisations, charities, and healthcare providers to ensure a broad knowledge base of available resources.
- Encourage individuals to engage with local activities and networks to reduce isolation and improve community involvement.
- Advocate for individuals who may struggle to access services due to language barriers, digital exclusion, or other challenges.
**Applicant Requirements**:
- An understanding of the barriers faced by vulnerable and diverse customer groups and individuals with complex needs
- An understanding of the current UK Benefits System and working knowledge of Universal Credit
- Team player with a caring, empathetic, flexible and have a resilient, can-do attitude
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and the confidence to make and act on decisions
