Job Introduction

As a Health Visitor you’ll join a team who are focused on clinical excellence Your days will be rewarding and varied and include offering support to children and families and empowering them to reach their full potential.

The service reflects the needs of the local population and is delivered within a designated area of a locality of HCRG Care Group. Health visitors carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of health needs together with the development, implementation and evaluation of packages of care. The HCRG Care Group Health Visiting team in Essex is an innovative service, being delivered in partnership with Barnardo’s, which delivers holistic health care for children and families from pre-birth to the age of 19

Main Responsibilities

As a Health Visitor you will be responsible for the assessment of health needs together with the development, implementation and evaluation of packages of care. The HCRG Care Group Health Visiting team in Essex is an innovative new service, being delivered in partnership with Barnardos, which delivers holistic health care for Children and families from pre-birth to the age of 5.

During contact with families you will identify any safeguarding concerns and refer those to the named nurse/clinical supervisor.

We have full or part time opportunities in Rayleigh & Rochford.

We are offering a Golden Hello up to the value of £2,000.

£500 awarded on successful completion of probation with a further £1500 after 15 Months (pro rata for Part Time staff)

You will have a SCPHN Health Visitor qualification.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
