**Role Overview**:
The Marketing Assistant - Brand and Digital Support (MABDS) will play a vital role in enhancing Unity5's brand presence and supporting marketing efforts across social media, website management, and event coordination. This position is ideal for an individual at the early stages of their marketing career who is eager to learn and contribute to the growth of Unity5.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Brand Support**:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of Unity5's brand identity, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Work with the marketing team to develop brand guidelines and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Assist in the creation of visual assets, including graphics and imagery, to support branding efforts.
- Support media relations activities and liaise with third-party agencies when necessary.

**Social Media Management**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, create, and schedule social media content that aligns with the brand and marketing strategy.
- Monitor and engage with the company's social media channels to build and nurture the online community.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for social media marketing and implement them to enhance brand visibility.

**Website Updates and Maintenance**:

- Support the marketing team in making regular updates and improvements to Unity5's website content.
- Collaborate with web developers or content management systems to ensure the website remains up to date and user-friendly.
- Assist in optimising website content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility.

**Event Support**:

- Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, including webinars, workshops, trade shows, and virtual events.
- Prepare event materials, such as promotional materials, signage, and presentations.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for attendees.

**Requirements**:

- A strong interest in marketing, branding, and digital marketing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

This is an office based role with our HQ at Winslade House, Clyst St Mary, EX5 1FY.

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
