Global Ardour Recycling Limited are a national recycling and waste management business, operating sites nationwide to offer services to recycle scrap metal, scrap cars and much more. We’re industry leaders, developing ground-breaking Energy from Waste technologies. We’re also one of the country’s largest scrap car recyclers, processing up to 10,000 every month across our sites. At the heart of our business are our employees and to support the growth and development of everybody who works for us, we have developed a dedicated training facility that caters for all learning styles and supports the development of all employees.

**The Role**:
We are recruiting a Commercial Pricing Advisor to work as part of the Cars team on our site in Longridge, Preston. You will take responsibility for all owning commercial pricing for scrap vehicle and managing the local garage scrap network. This is an exciting opportunity to join us in a period of significant change and be part of the next chapter in this well-established Recycling Business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To manage and grow the local garage scrap network
- To build relationships with traders across the country
- To own the commercial pricing for all scrap car vehicles
- To support the Cars team and wider business with administration duties
- To support the Cars team with customer services calls when needed
- To complete administration tasks as and when required
- To liaise with other teams across the business, particularly transport
- To work closely with senior management to grow and develop the commercial side of the Cars team
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required
- Provide and maintain relevant KPI information where required.
- Complete assigned work within the timescales provided

An experienced Commercial Pricing Advisor with excellent Microsoft package knowledge who is used to working in a fast paced environment.

**Essential Skills**:

- Previous commercial pricing experience
- Excellent administration skills
- Microsoft package experience
- Data collation
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Confident communicator
- Qualification in Maths and English
- Have a good understanding of customer requirements.
- Have an excellent telephone manner.
- To display a positive attitude towards the team and company at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
