The Safeguarding Co-ordinator reports to the Director of Safeguarding and is responsible for managing the systems of safeguarding and assisting with the development of a proactive safeguarding culture for pupils and staff. Alongside the Director of Safeguarding, the Safeguarding Co-ordinator will maintain and develop excellent working relationships with external agencies (e.g. ESAT, LADO, Children’s Social Care, Police, CAMHS). The Safeguarding Co-ordinator will also work closely with the Pastoral Management Team to ensure a co-ordinated and holistic approach to safeguarding, casework, compliance and record keeping.
