Veterinary Receptionist

**Your role and responsibilities**

**Duties include**:

- Reception Desk, Serving clients both face to face and over the telephone_
- Taking payments from clients_
- General administration duties_
- Data input_
- Till Reconciliation_
- Stock Control_
- Dispensing Medication_
- Diary Management_
- Waiting Room Displays_
- Sales_
- **This position is fast paced and varied. You will need to be organised, quick to learn and able to multi task with accuracy and attention to detail. You will need to be able to adapt to different situations, some may be challenging and difficult, and be able to work well under pressure.**_

Experience in the veterinary industry or reception work is ideal but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English is desirable

Hours: 32 hours per week over 4 days between the hours of 7.30am and 8pm. Including Saturdays on a rota basis of roughly 1 in 5 (with time off in lieu the following week).

**Salary**: £10.01 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
