Fareham, United Kingdom Ultimate Banking Ltd Full time

This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to progress their career within underwriting. Our client is happy to consider people who have mortgage exposure (such as administration or processing), or someone who has previous manual experience.

Their head office is based in Fareham and for the initial training period (3 months) they would require this individual to be fully office based, 5 days per week. Once that period is over, they operate a hybrid approach to the working week - 3 days in theoffice and 2 working remotely.

Duties of the Mortgage Underwriter will include:

- Offer mortgages to approved borrowers, within assigned mandate level and agreed service standards, requesting any outstanding information if required an verifying it on receipt;
- Review Agreement in Principle requests in a timely manner ensuring that the information meets the requirements of the Bank’s Lending Policy and confirms decisions to the relevant intermediary;
The successful individual will possess:

- Previous experience within mortgages; either underwriting, processing or administration
