**A great opportunity for a marketing and events assistant to join a leading professional services company in Taunton or Yeovil.**

**Great opportunity for a marketing assistant who would like to get involved in co-ordinating on all sorts of comms and campaigns for the firm, including events and charity fundraising aspects. You’ll be scheduling and formatting content for each departmentincluding case studies, news articles and thought leadership pieces.**

You’ll also be co-ordinating company attendance at external events and planning and delivering the company’s own events, both internally and externally

You’ll be working with teams and departments to develop promotional and corporate literature and managing branded merchandise and promotional products

Varied and interesting role with loads of interesting projects to work on across marketing and events.

**You need**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite
- To be a confident user and advocate of all forms of media including social media and Google Analytics
- An understanding and experience of working with a CRM and lead generation
- An understand of e-marketing platforms such as Mail Chimp, including managing contacts creation, distribution and follow-up to campaigns

**Your skills will include**:

- Strong communication skills with an ability to form good relationships and influence positively at all levels.
- Exceptional organisational skills and a methodical approach to tasks in order to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal English and a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
- Capability and flexibility in juggling many projects simultaneously.
- An understanding of the professional services or legal industry is beneficial but not essential.

A UK driving licence and regular access to a car is essential as the role will involve travel to other offices and occasional travel to external venues
