One of the world’s leading renal care providers, providing a holistic approach to care is looking for a Staff Nurse in Hereford. Along with a salary of up to £28,090 per annum, you will also receive overtime paid at time and a half (150 hours every 4 weeks),paid breaks, a focus on internal development and career progression with opportunities to undertake relevant study, 35 days holiday (including bank holidays), Christmas and New Year’s Day off, onsite parking, full PPE and uniform, Life Assurance, employeebenefit scheme, stakeholder pension, a referral scheme paying up to £1,000 and visa sponsorship.
You will provide patient care according to procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life for patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to the in-house education programme.
**As a Staff Nurse, your responsibilities will include**:
- Taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients.
- Following the tailored care plans as per consultant instructions and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record.
- Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with processes.
- Reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients.
- Working in a multi-disciplinary team.
**We are looking for a Staff Nurse who has the following skills and experiences**:
- To be a NMC Registered General Nurse.
- Awareness and Understanding of NMC code of professional conduct.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Have a positive and dynamic approach to providing safe and effective delivery of care.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
- The ability to work clinically in a renal setting.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, shift hours from 06:30-23:00. Please note, there are no nights or Sunday working.
