The University of Sheffield is recruiting a part time Social Media Assistant to help drive and develop our social media channels.

We’re looking for a confident social media user who knows how to use social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Threads and Twitter/X to effectively reach and connect with different audiences.

The Social Media Assistant supports the Corporate Communications team at the University in enhancing and protecting the reputation of the University of Sheffield via the delivery of effective social media communications.

You’ll understand and be able to articulate the experiences and needs of our audiences on social media platforms - as well as highlight understanding of how this translates into social media content and community management.

In return, you'll work with some of the most inspiring students and ground-breaking academics around on our social stories and campaigns.
