This is a permanent opportunity for an **Engineering Health and Safety Coordinator** to join our every growing Engineering Department in Scunthorpe.
- This post is working **Monday to Friday**:
- The hours of work are **08:00am to 16:00pm**:
- The rate of pay is**:£14.50 per hour**
Main Responsibilities
As an Engineering Health and Safety Coordinator, you will:
- Drive and coordinate high levels of Health and Safety within the engineering department
- Manage subcontractors brought onto site
- Develop safe systems of work
- Ensure compliance with 2 Sisters Food Group standards
- Ensure the department meets legislation requirements
- Develop relations with engineering personnel and contractors to ensure safety standards are maintained
As our ideal Health and Safety Coordinator, you will:
- Have experience working in a Health and Safety or Engineering department
- Have a recognized Health and Safety qualification - preferably a NEBOSH general certificate
- Have experience of working in a food production environment
- Be competent in using Microsoft Office
