**About the team**
The Records team is made up of a Records Team Manager, a Records Operations Manager, a Senior Records Coordinator, two Records Assistants and a Records and Renewals Administrator. The team falls under the wider Client Services department.
Members are based in London and Bath and deal with a variety of responsibilities in order to facilitate the smooth-running of the Records function.
**About the role**
The overall purpose of the role is to assist with the administration of the EIP records database and assist with the day to day running of the department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing and docketing daily post (physical and electronic) from the European Patent Office, UK Intellectual Property Office and United States Patent and Trademark Office and Foreign Agents
- Using Inprotech to update our systems; docketing, updating and clearing deadlines
- Setting up new cases (patents, trademarks and designs)
- Assisting with workspace creation on EIPdocs
- Providing administrative support to the wider Records team on an ad hoc basis
- Handling EP Grant and Validations; including instructing our service providers via their portals and filing Address for Service
**Experience, skills & qualifications**
You will be comfortable working in a modern, fast-paced environment where you are given a level of autonomy to do your work.

- Previous experience of patents and/or renewals is not essential to be successful in this role, as full training will be given.
