**Job description**

**Nannie Annies Day Care Ltd is seeking an early years educator for the Woodford Green area. We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to teach children ages 0-5 years old. This position will be full time, 40 hours per week.**

**Essential Functions**:
**Follow a consistent and flexible curriculum based on the needs of the children in the classroom**
- Create and maintain a safe and positive learning environment that promotes exploration, learning, and independence
- Develop a knowledgeable and caring professional relationship with each child by regularly communicating with the children, parents, and other staff members
- Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate patience, and exhibit understanding during encounters with obstacles during the day
- Participate in training and continuing education programs as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
**Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or an Early Childhood Education Credential program (preferred)**
- Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree (preferred)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist or turn around, reach above head, and move about the classroom.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
