Are you experienced in Purchasing? Do you believe you have the skills to lead and organise a team? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Food Purchasing Team Leader to join our Greene King team in Trafford Park. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all menu change activity is planned and executed within the required timescales. You will be working Monday to Friday from times between 07:00am - 17:00pm, 37.5 hours per week on a full-time, permanent basis.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Prepare & plan for team meetings and follow up on subsequent actions.
- Assist in Developing efficient and effective administration processes to support the depots in delivering key KPI’s and ensuring specific function related KPI’s are accurately recorded and managed
- Take ownership of coaching and developing your team to deliver outstanding service
- Review stockouts on a daily basis and investigate and action to prevent reoccurrence
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Ability to lead and develop people and act as a mentor
- Ability to work under pressure whilst still providing clear communication both internally and externally
- Ability to deputise in the absence of Manager and be able to deal with the questions being posed
- Experience in Purchasing or Procurement
