Darwin Programme

Dentsu's strategy for 2025 includes actions to improve business today and prepare for future needs. The role will work within the above programme which aims to revolutionise Media Practice workflows by improving processes, data integrity, automation, and AI. We are focused on enhancing productivity, client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Role Purpose

This individual support will support;- Attracting, nurturing and retaining the best talent in the industry by focusing on the development of a market leading L&D programme that is aligned with or Media evolution ambitions.- Enabling our talent to continue to learn and grow in future facing capability knowledge, alongside changing processes in channels and specialisms- Providing our team the tools, through training, to do their jobs to the best of their ability.- Cultivating a culture of learning through a consistent and diverse programme of activity, creating and consistently evolving our L&D programme to align to the needs of the business, the industry, our clients and individuals within the team.- Ensures we’re ahead of the curve with platform and partner knowledge, including our partner qualifications.

Key Accountabilities- Senior team member across the Media practice responsible for developing and delivering a training programme that establishes the ‘denstu way’ across channels & specialisms.- Partnering with Specialism & Operational leads and MSLT to develop and implement a strategic L&D plan that is aligned with our Media evolution programme and that spans all business levels, enabling business and individual growth, retention and progression of a best-in-class team.- Proactively and consistently iterating our L&D strategy in line with evolving business, team, client and industry direction and needs, supporting both challenges and opportunities for growth, with a focus on future facing skillsets and capability knowledge.- Engaging & influencing the Academy (our entry level programme) team, to ensure relevant training in the ‘dentsu way’ is established and delivered consistently across the employee journey, by discipline.- Partnering with central operation teams to develop a strategy that enhances the training opportunities and skillsets of our offshore team, aligning the training experience and knowledge to our onshore capability.- Collaborating with counterparts across the business, including HR, central talent teams, recruitment and global academy to identify further opportunities and priorities that can enhance our overall professional development and hiring strategy.- Key stakeholder and driver of the completion of certifications to support trading targets and to provide prestige into our training programmes. Champion a culture of learning through a clear communication model to the dentsu digital team, sharing and making accessible a spectrum of resources via various touchpoints,- Identifying and embedding a set of unifying behaviours which consistently drive us towards ‘Best in Class’ as part of our DNA. Support in establishing and championing dentsu as a ‘Force for Good’ via initiatives around equality, diversity, inclusion, work-life balance, mental health, and CSR.

Key KPIs- Delivery against milestones across media evolution programme- Improving Check in Score (People)- Increased Employee Retention (Churn)- Partner Certifications (Talent/L&D)- Positive Client feedback (via TRR scores)

Person Specification- Demonstration of ability to work with multiple stakeholders (Specialists, Operations, HR, Comms, Change) to create and manage an L&D strategy- Proven experience in developing, deploying and maintaining training programmes at scale- Keen understanding of Media market and types of training that can be leveraged to deliver against dentsu aims- Excellent communication skills- Problem-solving aptitude
