We’re looking for a Supervisor to join us here at Tariff & Dale in the Northern Quarter. We're an independent cocktail bar and restaurant with a focus on great food, drinks and service, looking for someone who likes to get stuck in and have some fun.

Some Restaurant and Floor experience is necessary for this role, but the most important thing is that you have a positive attitude and enjoy your job. We can teach you everything you want to know about anything else.

Ideally we are looking to hire someone with some previous leadership experience, be that as a team leader, supervisor or manager. However, if you are confident in your ability to lead a team and are looking for somewhere to take the next step forward in your career, then we are a perfect fit for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading restaurant service
- Opening and closing the venue
- Cashing up
- Training staff
- Implementing standards and protocols

You will also be expected to work alongside the rest of the management team in implementing and developing our floor standards and protocol, and giving us your input on how you think we can keep moving forward as a business. Your input matters as we strive to create an environment where everyone’s opinion is valid, and we improve as a team.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is required
- Strong knowledge of bartending, food preparation, and food safety practices
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service best practices
- Culinary background or training is preferred but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
