Support Medical Secretary

Microbiology is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Support Medical Secretary to join the team. The postholder will support the office administration and provide an efficient and effective referral service to the Microbiology team. The postholder acts as the first point of contact for staff and patient queries.
The role is office based at Arrowe Park Hospital. The working pattern will be 15 hours per week (9.00am - 5.00pm) worked over 2 days (Tuesday and Friday). A job share will be considered.
The post holder will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming calls and e-Referrals from the Microbiology Advice Line. You will provide administrative support to the Microbiology Consultants and their team, deputise in the Medical Secretary’s absence, and undertake general office duties.
