**Jewson,**a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a **Trade Counter Sales Advisor**to join the team in our **Stirling**branch who's as passionate about great service as we are.

**_Hours _**_: 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12 _

**_Location _**_: Jewson, Whitehouse Rd, Stirling FK7 7SS _

**_Key Responsibilities _**

In this role you'll be the first point of contact for customers - you'll be responsible for managing customers at the trade counter, processing sales orders and answering customer queries in branch and over the phone while driving sales and promoting accounts. This is a key role in the whole branch operation.
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, both face to face and over the phone
- Understand customer needs and provide proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
- Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
- Dealing with lapsed accounts while also generating sales with new and existing customers
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

**_Required Skills and Experience _**
- Previous industry experience would be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
- Experience in a busy customer facing role with strong communication skills
- IT literate
- A positive and flexible attitude
