**The Role**
Within the UK, Soho House has two country destinations, Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. Given the recent changes in the hospitality market and member behaviour, these houses are currently going through a series of operational changes, creating an exciting opportunity to get involved in helping co-ordinate the day-to-day operations at Farmhouse. This role reports to the Country Business Partner and involves working directly with the house General Manager on reporting, understanding and improving financial matters relating to site operations.
**Main Duties**
- Act as the resident on-site Accounts assistant to Farmhouse, promoting and controlling financial operations
- Maintain Purchase to Pay system by Raising PO numbers when necessary for overhead purchases
- Daily approval of invoices from Accounts Payable with coding
- Reconcile bacs payments for events
- Help maintain financial controls and processes at house level, identifying current weaknesses whilst also proposing solutions to common problems to improve operational efficiency
- Assist with insurance claims
- Collating information for new CAPEX request
- Reconcile overhead costs between Sage and manual PO log
- Produce weekly financial reporting, helping to bring consensus over efficiency, profitability and sales targets linked to budget and forecasts
- Support Country Business Partner on the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast processes. Take the lead on site budget drafts for initial version review
- Ensure that monthly balance sheet reconciliations and statutory reporting requirements are completed at a house level under new listing requirements. Also provide support at year end on the annual audit process where needed
- Additional ad-hoc duties as requested by the Country Business Partner and Support office
**Requirements / Qualifications...**
- Accounting package or similar ERP system
- Minimum 3 years' experience of working in a similar position
- Advanced Excel skills with financial reporting background
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Organised and methodical
