**Working Hours: 33.5 hours per week**

**Remuneration: Salary £23,210 (Probation rate)**

**Salary £24,250 (upon completion of successful probation)**

**About the Role**

Hanover are excited to be recruiting for a Waking Nights Home Support Worker in our Chandlers Court Very Sheltered Development in Elgin. This role involves working on a rota basis, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

As part of your role, you will be required to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site. This Permanent Waking night Home Support Worker - Chandlers Court, Elgin role involves working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 9.45pm
- 7.15am. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work life balance. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way. Promoting independence and encouraging customers to exercise choice.

**About You**

You will:

- Have a genuine passion for helping people.
- Be able to demonstrate our values: inclusion, accountability, respect, collaboration.
- Be able to display empathy and recognise the rights of independence and choice.
- Be willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC as well as comply with regulatory standards and codes of practice.
- Be able to work as part of a team, covering a mix of early and late shifts.
- Be required to have a full and satisfactory PVG check prior to starting.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Home Support Workers are responsible for providing personal care and housing support in line with care plans agreed by the customer.
- Assistance with personal mobility support, support with daily personal tasks and general housekeeping.
- Medication administration from level 1-4.
- Providing all aspects of care at home, on site, in accordance with Scottish Government guidelines.
