**Receptionist-Required at Castor Lodge Care Home, Splash Lane, Castor, Peterborough**

**Hours: Bank**

Castor Lodge located in the village of Castor near Peterborough provides a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door. Our newly built home is a specialise in residential, dementia and short-term respite care. The home has been designed for residents living with dementia in mind and incorporates themed areas to facilitate meaningful activities for residents including its own pub, hairdressing salon and nail spa, corner shop and café bistro not to mention the beautiful outdoor spaces, for relaxation.

**ABOUT THE RECEPTIONIST ROLE**

Our Receptionists are key in providing our colleagues with support in a multitude of areas including filing, maintaining personal records for both staff and Residents, answering the telephone, greeting new visitors to the Home, providing diary management assistance, clerical support and working with our Activities team.

Our Receptionists also engage with other Country Court Care colleagues and share our values when communicating with GP’s, Social Workers and Pharmacists.
You will need to have acute attention to detail, excellent customer service & communication skills, be a real team player, adaptable, have excellent computer skills and knowledge, be positive and have the ability to build relationships easily with people from all walks of life.

Due to the nature of the Receptionist role, you will need to pay £22.00 towards the cost of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting with us.
