**Catering & Events Logistics Assistant - £13-£14 per hour - 9.30am - 2.30pm 4 days per week**
**Based Deeside CH5 2JZ. Term time possible.**

Winston’s Finest & The Finest Hour has the pleasure of working with some fantastic clients, putting on events and providing catering for events across the UK.

We need a Catering & Event Logistics Assistant to help us across a number of areas of the business, ensuring the correct raw supplies are in place for our team of chefs, equipment is prepared organised and ready for events, the logistics are in place for us to execute the events properly and then the aftermath of events - ensure items and stored and packed, returned to hire companies etc.

This role ensures that equipment and supplies for food and beverage services are delivered efficiently and on time, supporting the needs of the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.

Key Tasks include
- Working with the Chef team to ensure supplies are available for them on time and to the necessary quantity/standard.
- Placing orders with suppliers, doing shopping and supply runs as required.
- Coordinate the movement of catering supplies, equipment, and staff between different venues, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
- Preparing equipment ready to go out on events (bar supplies, crockery, cutlery etc.)
- Manage storage of equipment.
- Ensuring workwear and linen requirements are met through cleaning and preparation with laundry companies etc.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service.
- Collaborate with the event management team to ensure the seamless integration of catering services into the overall event plan.
- Provide real-time updates and resolve any logístical issues that arise during events, ensuring mínimal disruption to service.

Person specification
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a role in logistics, hospitality or events industry

Essential attributes
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing issues quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and achieving results.
- High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
- Willingness to travel when needed.

Hourly Rate: £13-£14 per hour

Start - ASAP

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
