Head of Finance

JHE & Partners are pleased to be working with a reputable business in Brighouse as they look to recruit an experienced Head of Finance & Corporate Services. This opportunity will be working 3-4 days and is a great time to be joining the business as they look to grow.
Duties include:
- Oversee procurement activity & ensure compliance with good practice
- Monitor and manage overheads & reporting of variances
- Complete and present annual and biannual forecasting work
- Explore opportunities for efficiency and savings by monitoring supplier arrangements
- Ensure compliant financial record keeping, reporting & transactional activities are maintained
- Ensure Credit control is completed monthly and that the accounting system is accurate and up to date and tallies with the bank account
- Monitor and manage the companies bank accounts including making and monitoring payments and credits
- Manage the monthly payroll function
- Take the lead on all aspects of financial performance and reporting
- Proactively advise and support the Trustee Board with regard to statutory and regulatory compliance
- Ensure that financial standards are maintained and promote good practice in recording and reporting financial activity
- Ensure the timely completion of annual returns (Charity Commission, Companies House etc.)
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulations and assurance frameworks and ensure policies and processes evolve in order to comply with updates
- Carry out other appropriate duties as required by management.

**Salary: Circa £50K (3-4 days pro rata)**

Part-time hours: 25-30 per week
**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
