**Job purpose**:
The Local Resource Coordinator is responsible for planning and collaborating with global resource manager, head of country and delivery and/or study managers to ensure validation of resource skill sets and availability during proposal preparation and following project award. The resources coordinator position requires a data proficient, self-motivated, and highly organized person eager to contribute to building the OC’s operational culture by maintaining the local and global workload balance and resource management process. This position must work with the team to maximize global resource utilization by planning upcoming needs and matching resource demand with capacity and capability. The resources coordinator will assist to establish key metrics for positioning the local Operating Centres internally and externally as workload information is essential for tendering and operational decisions.

- Previous experience with resume resource capability screening is a plus
- Proficient in MS office, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe - Experience with Power BI a Plus

**Main accountabilities**:

- Responsible for maintaining and providing visibility to the organisation on current and forecast resource plans
- Support of forecasting of personnel based on project needs, skill sets and availability.
- Responsible for supporting assignment of local resources to proposals, projects/studies, making sure we assess all resourcing options to manage project/portfolio profitability.
- Collaborate with other Local Resources Coordinators and Global Resources Manager for global resourcing of proposals, projects / studies
- Coordinates service resources and propose team members to project and tenders in collaboration with Head of Country a nd Delivery/Study Managers.
- Analyses all backlogs to report to Global Resource Manager and HOC delivery of projects within required timeframe.
- Support maintenance of talent and capability database to meet timeliness and quality standards.
- Highlights any gaps in required competencies to execute work

**Job Scope**:

- Keeping resource management/forecasting tool up to date
- Report backlog and forecast to management locally and globally on regular basis
- Contribute to adopt a Global approach when assigning resources
- Have knowledge of GDC capability and availability
- Highlight any gaps on capability/capacity to global resource manager and head of country
- Interface with local P&C organization to support proactive recruitment decisions
