**What you will be doing...**

**Procurement Buyer**, based at Holiday House in Leeds City Centre.
- Reporting to the
- **Senior Procurement Manager**, our
- **Procurement Buyer** will work as a key part of the Procurement Team as well as
- _Working as One Team_ in collaboration with colleagues across
- _and
- **Jet2holidays**, helping to shape sub-category strategy and lead/support the associated tender and negotiation processes for the business.**What will you do in the role?**

As our
- **Procurement Buyer**, you will lead on the development of designated category strategies to help promote the commercial position of
- **Jet2holidays** to relevant suppliers, building strong working relationships and leveraging those relationships to drive improved service and cost reduction for the business. You will also:
- Own and deliver annual savings targets for specific categories as agreed with the Senior Procurement Manager, whilst acting as a role model for non-procurement colleagues
- Support the delivery of a seamless end-to-end procurement service

**What are the key skills/experience you’ll already have?**

You will have an in-depth knowledge of Procurement & experience in direct/in-direct buying across categories, with the ability to demonstrate experience in using innovative approaches to procuring services and managing relationships with suppliers. You will also:
- Be an excellent communicator, & have proven experience of being able to build long-standing relationships with internal/external stakeholders/suppliers
- Be a highly effective negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Holding an MCIPS qualification would be beneficial but not essential
