**About The Team & Role**

We're seeking experienced HR professionals to lead a key project on sickness absence management within our council. This important role involves:

- Taking a fresh approach to absence management, bringing innovative ideas to policy, practice and embedding new ways of working.
- Reviewing our policies and procedures to align with best practice and organisational values.
- Developing comprehensive training materials and toolkits to empower managers to proactively support sickness absence.
- Providing proactive managerial support for complex sickness absence cases
- Analysing key performance indicators to measure and demonstrate organisational impact.

You'll be working as part of a dynamic HR team, driving positive change, and enhancing employee wellbeing.

We're offering two positions at Grade 8 or 9, depending on qualifications and experience. Part-time arrangements will be considered.

**About You**
- Possesses exceptional communication skills and quickly builds rapport.
- Has a proven track record in policy development and implementation.
- Excels in both case management and project coordination.
- Can take a creative approach and develop fresh ideas
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills to interpret and act on data.

At Grade 8 you need to be CIPD qualified, and Grade 9 successfully upgraded to MCIPD

**About Us**

Join our supportive and innovative HR and OD team of over 60 professionals. You'll be part of our Employee Relations team, working closely with managers on diverse HR challenges. This role reports directly to our Professional Lead for Employee Relations and there will be lots of opportunity for professional development and impact.
