We are seeking a result driven**Launch / Manufacturing Engineer** to join a UK pioneer of Rally Raid racing cars based in Belper, Derbyshire on a full-time permanent basis paying circa £50,000 per annum.

This is a fantastic and niche opportunity to join a pioneer within its market in the design and production of high-performance vehicles developing some of the most innovative, durable, and exciting all-terrain vehicles currently in production. **The Role of the Launch / Manufacturing Engineer**:
This is an exciting and fast-moving role that will require the **Launch / Manufacturing Engineer** to be highly organised, comfortable multitasking and able to deliver in a complex, low volume manufacturing environment. The **Launch / Manufacturing Engineer**will take the lead in making quick, concise decisions, while delegating appropriate resources to the task. The role will include creating production processes that enable a successful launch of new products,from design to manufacturing. The **Launch / Manufacturing Engineer** will ensure practicality of designs to meet build requirements, Design for Assembly (DFA) and produce an appropriate Bill of Process (BOP).

**Duties and responsibilities of the Launch / Manufacturing Engineer**:

- Lead the planning and delivery of manufacturing production
- Maintain the engineering process from conception through to delivery, ensuring all metrics are met inc; process performance; capability; safety; quality cost and people.
- Development, maintenance, validation, and approval of Standardised Work Instructions
- Continual and re-active process improvement
- Regularly review process failures, and ensure equipment can maintain high quality output
- Co-ordinate the support of physical builds at assembly plant locations, raising and managing issues where appropriate
- Meet quality, volume, and cost targets
- Effective time management, to optimise financial budgets

**Working hours**:
Due to the nature of this role flexibility towards working hours will be required however core hours will follow: Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 17.15pm & Friday: 8.00am - 14.15pm
