Come and work in the London area as a Security Guard with Reel Security...the leading global provider of security to the film and entertainment industry. This is a really exciting time to work with our growing business. Headquartered in Los Angeles, ReelSecurity specializes in security for production companies working "on location" outside their studios for TV, Film, and Commercials. We have expanded our business to the UK and we're currently offering employment for either DAY OR NIGHT shifts for UnarmedSecurity Guards. Contractor guards typically work 12+ hour shifts (Day or Night Shifts) and work at new locations as needed per production. Pay rates are based on years of experience. About the Position: Reel Security contractors are primarily responsiblefor protecting valuable equipment and production property in temporary outdoor locations. Some of the duties of our contractor guards: - Monitor and protect client property from intrusion and theft at temporary sites. - Record and log incoming drop-offs and pickups of client equipment at temporary sites. - Patrol client areas to detect potential unsecured property. - Obtain information on incidents that occur on post and write incident reports. - Assist client location management and enforcement officers in possible emergency situations. - Monitor temporary no parking posting in order to inform public of the signage to ensure parking area remains clear. - Monitor temporary sites to prevent trespassing. - Guards may be required to lift up to 25 pounds with the direction of a supervisor. - All posts are temporary and all scheduling is done ON CALL. Job Requirements: - VALID SIA FRONTLINE-SECURITY GUARD LICENSE (DOOR SUPERVISOR OR SECURITY OFFICER) - Personal vehicle recommended & valid driver license required - Reliable means of communication required (smart phone) - Flexible schedule - Schedule & shift times are always changing - This position is ON CALL - Travel to various job sites - A history of lawful conduct - High standards of integrity and honesty **Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Temporary contract Salary: £11.50-£12.50 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 12 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Holidays - Monday to Friday - Night shift - Weekend availability **Experience**: - **Security Officers: 1 year (REQUIRED)** **Licence/Certification**: - **SIA Frontline License-Security Guard (REQUIRED)** **Salary** GBP 11.5 - 12.5 Hourly Rate**Job Type** Temporary / Contract**Job Status** Full Time
