Office and Finance Assistant

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Assist with the accounts payable process
- Assist with accounts receivable process
- Assist with credit control process, contacting customers for payment dates and sending statements
- Responsible for monitoring stock and raising POs for office consumables, cleaning products and stationery, distributing to the relevant departments / buildings as required.
- Answering incoming phone calls and other reception duties
- Ensuring necessary arrangements are made for visitors including, meeting room setup, lunch and refreshments as necessary
- Maintain the relationship with the external cleaning company, escalating concerns as necessary.
- Responsible for supporting office duties and administration as requested
- Liaise and manage service providers & utilities as required
- Processing purchase orders when required
- Assist to provide cover within the team as necessary
- Assist with any other duties as and when required.
- Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires.
- Carry out work in accordance with the operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements.
**Qualifications & Experience**
Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in the use of Sage Accounts / relevant accounting package.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes (primarily excel and word)
Preferred:
- Previous experience within a Finance department.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
