**Job summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Domestic cleaning to a high standard, including cleaning activities such as hoovering, mopping, dusting and polishing. Also includes laundering of resident’s clothes, towels and linen.
- Ensuring the home complies with all health and safety regulations and infection control measures.
- You will exhibit courtesy and respect to residents at all times, working closely with management and other members of staff to ensure a peaceful, clean and tidy environment is maintained.
- You will exercise good time management, ensuring all duties are completed in a timely manner.
- Assisting managers as required, liaising with other members of the team to ensure that residents receive an excellent standard of care and service.
- Adhering to professional standards, following Company policies and procedures and the regulatory requirements provided by the care quality commissioning group.
**Required skills**:

- Good communication skills, with elderly residents, visitors and other members of staff.
- You will genuinely want to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
- You will be reliable, dependable and a team player who is willing to help others.
- You must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience is welcome, but not required as full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work shifts.
- You will demonstrate genuine enthusiasm towards the role and the care sector.
- The ability to take initiative and to have a positive, can-do attitude is essential.

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff are tested for COVID-19 weekly, and are required to wear PPE throughout the home. Additionally, the COVID-19 vaccination is a legal requirement for all staff in care homes.
