Maintenance Coordinator

**Duty of Care Limited are a forward-thinking company who require a maintenance contractor to carry out general repairs, decorating and so fourth across the two care homes. This would involve keeping both homes in general good condition and carry out jobs around the homes as and when required.**

**Objectives of a Maintenance co-ordinator**
This is, by nature, a very varied role, which requires a high level of versatility and the ability to multitask. You will be required to complete your daily workload in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- To provide a prompt, efficient and cost-effective maintenance service to around both care homes
- Understanding instructions and requirements
- Carrying out the requirements faultlessly and completely
- Liaising seamlessly with clients and staff
- Upholding the high standards and values of our company at all times
- Repair & replace locks and door fittings
- Fit and Rehang doors, shower screens
- Ensure furniture is sound and conduct minor repairs
- Clearance of unwanted furniture
- Delivery and install appliances such as laundry equipment, etc
- Change light bulbs including low voltage & transformer replacement, change light switches and plug points
- Redecorate as and when required
- Hang Pictures, and mirrors and assist with presentation
- Steam cleaning of carpets and soft furnishings
- Re-grouting / re-tiling of wall and floor tiles
- As well as other duties as and when required
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour
