**Your role in this mission**:
Product marketing is the linchpin that connects our product strategy to the tactics that we need to drive success in sales and marketing and accelerate product revenue growth
You will be pivotal in the creation of value messaging and how our approach delivers far more than our competitors. You know our customers and buying personas and how they make their buying decisions. You back up organisational plans and strategies with data and market evidence and use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sellers and partners. You collaborate with your peers in marketing and on the product and sales/channels teams.
This role requires strategic thinking, a deep understanding of CybSafe products and how to demonstrate business value from them, as well as skilled content writing and communications.
A positive attitude, great energy, strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are a must.
**Some of the things you'll be looking after**:
- Product marketing strategy - develop the overall strategy for the product marketing function to increase pipeline, win percentages, ARR growth, and market awareness across the entire platform
- Market intelligence - be the expert on our customers and influencers, how they buy, and their key buying criteria
- Competitive intelligence - understand the competitive landscape, be the expert on our competition, how they are positioned, and how we win. Enable the sales team to effectively compete against our key competition through training, battlecards, etc.
- Collaborate with product management and communications/brand to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas
- Act as a thought leader for CybSafe in external customer meetings, speaking engagements, and written assets (e.g., blogs, PR, analyst briefings)
- Work with peers to create, manage and execute the marketing plan
- Work with our top-notch design team to create compelling content including web pages, eBooks, white papers, solution briefs, data sheets, videos, and other assets as needed to effectively engage customers
- Continually look for ways to test and optimise the content and format of our product messaging, to enable our sales teams to present the right message and materials to the right buyers at the right time.
- Work with the product team to coordinate seasonal releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Understand and support our sales channels. Work with enablement to develop plans to train sales/SDRs on the problems we solve for customers, develop internal tools and collateral, and develop a plan to brief sales on how to use it.
- Develop relationships with key analysts and influencers and actively drive inclusion, coverage, and favourable ratings for CybSafe.
**You'll bring to the tribe**:
- Leadership skills - the ability to speak with confidence about CybSafe and the security awareness & training/HRM space to high-level audiences.
- Domain expertise - cybersecurity (SA&T/HRM preferable), target customers, personas, customer buying journeys.
- Sharp writing and presentation skills with a knack for writing in our brand personality.
- Passion for disrupting the market by introducing innovative solutions that bypass traditional approaches.
- Ability to craft both value-based and feature-focused messaging for multiple audiences.
- Proven ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent and sound judgment.
- Track record of creating presentations, web pages, brochures, and other materials tailored to resonate with multiple buyers.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and manage communications from different sources with clarity and speed.
