Senior Planner

**About the role**

This exciting senior planner role would initially be focused on the Dandara BTR Legacy projects; to develop realistic timeframes, logistic plans, phasing plans and detailed programmes for the carrying out of the remediation works to both the internal and external façade elements of the buildings Dandara Living completed over the last 30 years.The role would encompass the pre-construction and operational planning and programming requirements in connection with the design, procurement and construction stages of a Legacy project. The role would require working on multiple Legacy projects at any one time. The senior planner would be responsible for advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation and analysis that may involve a major project or several smaller projects during both the pre-construction and construction phases of the projects. In addition to this, the role would then transition to working for the Lead Planner assisting programme and logístical development to the Dandara Living live projects and pipeline projects as required.

**What you will do**

What you will contribute to the team;
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify dependencies, co-ordinate project delivery activities and understand their scheduling requirements, deliverables and timescales.
- Performing regular progress monitoring activities including identifying critical events, reviewing forecasts with progress to date, and ensuring that remedial action is taken by project owners.
- Assisting the project management team with evaluating schedule and budgetary impacts of project updates, if necessary, organising and facilitating workshops.
- Reporting of project key deliverables, critical path analysis and float monitoring, RAID analysis, forecasts budgeting and actuals.
- Actively promoting and supporting the use of our project management tools within the business.

**What you will have**
- Ideally degree educated in a construction / building or engineering based field
- Minimum six years of professional planning experience
- Both excellent pre-construction and on-site experience
- Expert use of Asta Powerproject Team plan Version 13 Project Management software
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of planning for logístical and safety critical works and key constraints such as out of hours working, embargos and sectional / partial completions.
- Ideally would have worked / have good extensive experience of working on Build to Rent (BTR), Private for Sale (PRS) or PBSA (Student Accommodation) projects
- Delay Claim Analysis Experience
- Experience in BIM / 4D Modelling
- Demonstrable understanding of Health & Safety requirements on site
- prepared to travel regionally and nationwide as required to suit the requirements of the site locations and the needs of the business.
