The ACP will be an experienced caring practitioner with highly developed clinical skills and be able to demonstrate critical thinking whilst working within professional boundaries The ACP will work collaboratively with the MDT to support delivery of policies and procedures Participate in local initiatives to enhance service delivery and improve patient care Take an active role in clinical supervision and reflective practice Be educated to masters level, this education will include the following core areas: comprehensive physical assessment of all body systems across the lifespan, history taking and clinical decision-making skills health and disease, including physical,sociological, psychological, and cultural aspects of history taking, public health, epidemiology, health education and promotion Contribute positively to innovative change, be flexible, responsive to new ways of working
