Advanced Clinical Practitioner

The applicant should be a caring, committed and experienced practitioner who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision‑making and expert care, including assessment, diagnostic skills and prescribing, for patients within the general practice. Prescribing qualification is essential. The post holder will commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision‑making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (either ANP or UCP background) to join our friendly and efficient Practice team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, team player, for part time hours. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Pontesbury & Worthen Medical Practice is a developing and growing practice with two sites, situated in the rural villages of Pontesbury and Worthen, just south of Shrewsbury providing medical care for approximately 10500 patients. We are a forward thinking team, keen to adopt and progress innovative ideas and solutions whilst providing excellent clinical care. We are a Dispensing practice. We are a training practice.
