Experiencing rapid growth and leading in their field, our client is seeking a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent contract to oversee the managementaccounting team, increase & improve reporting, partner with the wider business and be responsible for cashflow forecasts and VAT returns. There is an amazing opportunity here to take ownership and drive value add across the business - think of this as a greatstepping stone to get you to a Financial Controller. We need a self-starter, and someone who enjoys being hands on and viewing things through a "how can we do things better?" lens as this role is crucial to business expansion and highly autonomous. The salaryon offer here is up to circa £60,000 + benefits. Hybrid working is supported and the location is based near excellent transport links, opening this opportunity up to those in Swindon & Bristol. **Responsibilities**: - Prepare & review management accounts - Be responsible for the line management of a small team - bringing the best out in them through appraisals and reviews - Assist / support in the annual budget preparation - Deliver and present analysis to understand & explain variances and trends - Prepare Group cash flow forecasts - Prepare quarterly VAT returns - Identify weak processes and project lead in the solving of those - Business partner the wider business in how to "scale" and "grow" through finance - Partner with the financial accounting team in reconciliation & review of balance sheet reconciliations **About You**: - Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) - Prior line management experience - Be a self-starter - Previously worked in growth environments - Prior management accounts experience
