**Junior Management Accountant**

**A proactive Junior Management Accountant is now required to join a construction contractor based in their Kings Langley office.**

**The Company**

The successful Junior Management Accountant will join an established, first-rate contractor who specialize construction, refurbishments, new builds, interior fit outs, and maintenance.

**The Junior Management Accountant Responsibilities**

The Junior Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records on accounts payable and receivable as well as monthly reconciliations to get the accounts to Trial Balance stage.

**Junior Management Accountant responsibilities**:

- Process all invoices as required
- Process and pay invoices and employees' expenses
- Process Bishopsgate weekly timesheets for two subsidiary companies
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliation statements
- Cash flow forecast to be updated on a regular basis
- Attend meetings to discuss financial information as required
- Assist the Finance Director with job costing financial reports
- Assist the Finance Director with audit and annual budget preparation
- Complete ad-hoc duties when required

**Management Accountant requirements**:

- 2 years' accounts experience in a similar industry
- AAT qualified
- Accurate with a keen sense of deadline awareness
- Flexibility to work additional hours when and if required
- Positive attitude, capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- **Good working knowledge and understanding of HMRC Regulations and other financial legislation for the Construction Industry**:

- **Good workingknowledge of Accounting Procedures**

**Experience in the below software is desirable**:

- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Eque2, PaperLess, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), Domestic Reverse Charge VAT (DRC)

**_Hours are 8am-5pm. Full-time office role._**
