This is an exciting opportunity to join a CMHT for older people in Kirklees and play a clinical role in delivering a high standard of care.

We work flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team working with people who experience a functional and/or organic mental health diagnosis.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated qualified practitioner who can work in a flexible, innovative and creative way. The role will primarily be based in Batley working Monday to Friday 9am 5pm. However, as the team has 2 geographical bases, you will be required to deliver a mental health service Kirklees wide in line with clinical demand.

Key elements of the role include undertaking assessments, care planning/coordination, manage a caseload, supervise junior staff, deliver both short and long-term interventions, address safeguarding concerns and be able to demonstrate clinical decision-making skills whilst working collaboratively with the service user/carers, partner organisations and primary care staff.

Enthusiasm and the ability to use your own initiative are essential, along with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. You will need the use of a vehicle to undertake any necessary travel in connection with the duties.
