Customer Support

As part of the prestigious Trek Group of companies, **Cartwright Vehicle Conversions** is a conversion manufacturer based in Belton, between Doncaster and Scunthorpe, that offers a wide range of converted vehicles for the commercial market, mobility, ambulance, police, temperature control, and security sectors.

We are currently looking to appoint to the exciting role of **Customer Support - Sales & Aftersales**, to provide an efficient, positive and timely response to customers for sales and aftersales enquiries.

This is a varied and busy role interacting directly with the public, with dealers and also with trade customers. The role covers all aspects of Customer Support from dealing with initial enquiries through stock availability, order processing, document preparation, liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure they feel supported at every step of the process.

We are looking for a confident person with a mature attitude to work who is able to investigate and handle complaints. Ensure that all enquiries are followed up and nobody is left waiting for a response - basically provide excellent customer service. We want to ensure a professional experience at every contact with our organisation.

**The specific responsibilities of the Customer Support - Sales & Aftersales are, but not limited to**:

- Log and process orders and quotes using Direct Sales Price and Order Guide.
- Process weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Raise sales orders and generating internal sales reports.
- Updating stock reports.
- Updating customers with production and delivery status.
- Liaise with customers to seek clarity of their requirements and offer advice accordingly to ensure they are updated at all stages of the warranty claim process.
- Provide a consistent level of customer service that meets/exceeds customer expectations.
- Investigate and resolving customer complaints.
- Devising ways to improve the office administrative process to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Build a rapport with our customer base and dealership contacts.
- Ensure all customer enquiries are followed up and dealt with until the query has been successfully concluded.
- Keeping accurate documentation and maintain relevant databases.
- All general customer enquiries.
- Any other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.

- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally, written and as a presentation, with the ability to deliver appropriate messages in a consistent and timely manner.
- A good understanding of and compliance with ISO 9001 & QVM Quality processes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Focus and flexibility towards tasks and responsibilities expected in the role.
- Have good negotiation and influencing skills, and able to present and discuss topics clearly, with confidence.

**Knowledge required in this role**:

- Word, Excel, and in-house systems.
- Good and up to date product knowledge.
- Experience in Sales and vehicle commissioning.
- Good understanding of Emergency Services operational and fleet management procedures.
- Understanding of and compliance with the Trek-Group CVC/SVP policies.
- A full car driving licence.
