NLB Solutions are working with a progressive business which is looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their existing finance team. The role will report in to the management accountant and need someone that is looking for a role that will offer progressionin time. The job is purchase ledger and expenses based with bank and balance sheet reconciliations and journals to be completed with responsibility for payments.
**Duties**:
- Accurate processing purchase invoices and staff expenses in accounting system
- Ensure all invoice/expenses are authorised in line with limits
- Complete supplier statement reconciliations
- Deal with invoice queries/payment queries from suppliers
- Reconcile monthly patient spread payments
- Daily cashing up reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Processing of journals in relation to accounts payable
- Reconciling and analysing credit card and petty cash spend
- Performing weekly payment runs in accounting system
- Send monthly fee statements and perform accurate postings
- Undertake cost analysis monthly
- Perform weekly review of payables and provide analysis.
- Assisting in balance sheet reconciliation’s
- Provide necessary support to Management Accountant and Financial Controller during the month end, Budget and annual audit.
Person Spec:
- Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk with additional tasks
- Experience on reconciliations
- AAT studier
- Excellent IT skills ideally Dynamics 365 but all will be considered
- Excellent Excel skills
- Other Adhoc projects
