Lee Kum Kee Europe is the sales and marketing operation of the Lee Kum Kee Group, developing the Lee Kum Kee business, distribution, and the brand across Europe.
The business supplies goods to the region via a number of specially appointed importers and distributors, selling into the trade channels of ethnic Chinese/Asian trade, Mainstream Retail, European Foodservice and Industrial (food manufacturers) channels. The role of Lee Kum Kee Europe is to drive the overall business growth and development by working with distributors, wholesale and retail trade, services suppliers, end-user operators, and industry associations.
**Position Summary**
We have grown in our retail division and now want to gain a strong footing within Out of Home (OOH). This growing segment is where we will see new partnerships and co-creation of Lee Kum Kee sauces with our restaurant, catering and wholesaler partners.
Therefore, an exciting opportunity has risen to join the Lee Kum Kee Marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator to support the Foodservice & Trade Marketing Manager. While this role focusses on executing the marketing plans, bringing the brand to life with Foodservice prospects/customers and assisting the wider marketing & sales team with key projects, it will be great to have someone in role who can think out of the box and bring in new marketing / creative ideas to the table in support of business growth objectives.
This role would be great for someone who has had at least a couple of years of relevant work experience in a B2B Marketing, Trade Marketing or Foodservice role. The position requires a highly proactive individual who is good at cross functional collaborations, is able to develop, draft and present marketing plans as well as work to deadlines to execute them alongside the Foodservice & Trade Marketing Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the Lee Kum Kee Professional website, keeping it up to date with content and measuring key performance metrics - including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rates via Google Analytics. Subsequently recommending tactical plans to improve performance
- Liaising cross functionally to support the creation of a comms plan to fuel the social channels for Trade & Foodservice. Administer the plan and launch /grow the channels in the desired direction
- Liaise cross functionally to ensure all company collateral (brochures, banners, catalogues, recipe books etc) are kept up to date and designed/re-designed as required
- Liaise with design, artwork and creative agencies to ensure all deliverables are produced on time and to the desired standard
- Liaise with trade show organisers and stand build vendors to manage the operational aspects of events, tradeshows and sponsorship events - ensuring product, collateral, stand build, stand supplies etc are all up to the mark. Additionally, coordinate the managing of own events organised by Lee Kum Kee
- Keep track of budgets, purchase orders & invoices. Proactively participate in vendor selection and management as necessary
- Form strong connections cross-functionally within the business, in particular with the Foodservice sales team, wider marketing team, sales support team, product owner and in-house chef so as to leverage existing campaign assets and ideas and to draw from the wealth of available information to make informed choices for Foodservice / Trade
**Selection Criteria**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Marketing or Marketing Communications role, ideally with a focus on digital/CRM & content marketing
- B2B/Foodservice/Trade Marketing experience is a definite plus
- Excellent spoken and written English required. Knowledge of European languages is preferred and is a definite plus
- Educated to a degree level in a Marketing or Communications discipline
- Good Writing, Editing and presentation skills
- Experience in managing multiple agencies
- Highly organized and detailed focused but without losing sight of the big picture
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, execute on projects, meet deadlines
- Switched on about best practices in B2B marketing with the ability to recommend new and creative ways for attracting target prospects / customers
