We are seeking a temporary worker for an exciting opportunity as a HUB Support - Administrator within MOD** (AO Grade)**
The administrative officeR will be part of the Admin Hub based at Andover. It is one of four Hubs geographically located across DIO business which provides a centralised administrative and general support service to DIO staff within its area of responsibility. This is a friendly and supportive team in a fast paced, diverse and customer facing role. An essential part of the role will be promoting strong working relationships both within the team and other teams across DIO and MoD. There will be occasional travel to other DIO sites within the UK, a driving licence is mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing MOD office equipment and facilities (meeting rooms, laptops, mobile telephones)
- Liaison with the standard change team and customers to ensure continuous logístical flow of laptops/mobile phones
- Provide admin support to projects and programmes when requested by the Regional Support Team
- Manage a fleet of pool cars, some remotely
- Defence transport management for a large workforce and a fleet of lease vehicles and fuel cards, including where required, the provision of hired vehicles, in accordance with current departmental policies and procedures
- General building services management; fault reporting and monitoring, and office/floor plate planning in a hot desking community, to meet business and health and safety requirements
- Support our Head of Establishment, Admin Hub manager and assigned Health & Safety representative to comply with Department and Health & Safety Executive policies
**Typical experience**:
- Good user of office software, e.g. Teams, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Ability to filter information and assess priorities, looking to bring additional value to the team.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team and enjoy being a team player
- Good organisation skills; ability to multi-task and organise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driving Licence is mandatory
Pay rate: 11.01/hour, M-F 37 hours per week

Start date: vetting pending
End of the assignment: 31/08/23, extension possibility
