Responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the Merchandising team, leading on the strategic direction of the department.
- Responsible for financial KPI planning from both a channel and category perspective.
- Ensure OTB is managed in line with sales projections and an effective stock strategy is maintained.
- Continually assess both risk & opportunity, taking necessary trading action in a timely manner.
- Proactively drive new and innovative reporting approaches.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Product to create seasonal strategies for the division.
- Build strong relationships with the Design & Buying teams to shape seasonal collections, balancing commerciality with seasonal design direction.
- Effectively manage the merchandising team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback and empowering the team to be their best.
- Work together with the management team on joint business strategy and goals.
- Display the ability to work cross functionally with key stakeholders across the business, including finance, wholesale and marketing.
- Proactively look for ways to improve your knowledge and skill set.
- Take on board feedback to identify key strengths as well as areas for improvement.
- 4+ years of merchandising experience.
- Highly competent IT skills, particularly excel.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy skills, the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from large sets of data, as well as an understanding of forecasting methodology.
- Commercial awareness
- show a strong understanding of the current retail market.
- Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
- Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
- A proactive mindset and able to effectively manage priorities.
- Good team work and a willingness to help others.

Location: remote working combined with 2 days a week at our Leith Studio, Edinburgh

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30-5:00pm

**Salary**: negotiable dependent on experience
