Remote Co-owner of Islamic International Social

SadaqaShop launched as a pilot in the Netherlands, and is now ready to expand to other countries where e-commerce is common. We are looking for a franchise manager who will be the head of this international enterprise. This is a business opportunity where you as a franchise manager will receive 20% of the international income funded by all platforms of participating countries.

**What does SadaqaShop do?**

SadaqaShop is a social business that **redistributes commercial profits to causes as sadaqa **(charity), by sharing a part of affiliate marketing commissions gained by online shopping to charities our users choose to support. Causes register and send their supporters to our platform, through which our income also increases. Our business has an Islamic foundation.

Our cooperation partner is ShopDonation who provides us with the system to make this all happen. They have been building and developing their social platform for 6 years and have expanded to 11 countries already.

SadaqaShop will also expand internationally through the same franchise model. A franchisee (team) can run a SadaqaShop platform locally in each country in the world where online shopping is common. We are especially focusing on the Middle East, Africa and Western countries with large muslim communities.

While our company is in the growth phase, based on the **first target **we want to reach where 30 countries are up and running, the estimated income for this 20% would be around €132k - €218k yearly income, depending on many variables. You are allowed to bring in others as part of your team at any time, as long as you are ultimately responsible.

We are looking for a **hard-working, responsible and entrepreneurial character** who takes pride in working for a concept that generates sadaqa (donations) for social causes worldwide.

**The tasks**:

- Franchise manager: Recruiting franchisees for each country and managing the team through Slack, to see if anyone has questions, but also see if the franchisee is the right person for the job. We provide a standard franchise contract for each franchisee, where you might need to negotiate certain elements. In all the tasks above you will be guided and helped, the actual edits in a contract will be done by the contract lawyer that we hire. It's important to have a skillful and capable franchisee (team) for each country, because you will earn a percentage of their generated revenue. We will provide specific guidelines on what to look for in a franchisee.

This will be the main part of the job in the first phase. When the team is complete it shifts more towards international marketing and relationship management with nonprofits.
- International marketing and relationship management with nonprofits: Our main task is to bring in social causes worldwide who will register to our platform and start using it to generate funds. This is done through networking, relationship building and international marketing. The bigger the network a potential partner has, the more causes they can bring in and the more SadaqaShop will generate. Every platform in each country runs their own PR, social media channels and marketing and need to be guided if it's not done well. While we don't run an international platform (because it's vital that each country does the marketing specific to their culture) we do promote our international brand name. When a user arrives at our international brand page, they will simply be asked to choose in which country they want to 'shop and donate for free'.

A great benefit is that we can follow the exact guidelines and manuals that were executed by ShopDonation, whose founder you will be in direct contact with and will guide you through all the tasks.

Furthermore SadaqaShop currently has a technical team and a UX designer who will always develop the platform further.

**Specifics**

Time-wise at first you can start this position with a part-time time schedule, we can agree that when a certain amount of regular income is established it will become a full-time job.
