A leading financial services company based in the City of London.

**The role**

The company are looking for a **Information Security Officer** to focus on supporting the management of Information Security governance, risks, and controls.

**The responsibilities**
- Manage the Information Security Governance policies and Standards, monitor and report on performance and compliance
- Define and maintain the security controls catalogue, assess their effectiveness and make recommendations for control improvement.
- Drive a culture of Cyber Security awareness, continuously developing and delivering a suite of information security training and awareness initiatives that periodically educate all the staff,

**Essential experience**
- Extensive background in Information security
- Information Security risk management processes and best practice
- Familiarity with relevant information security and IT frameworks, especially ISO27001, NIST-800 and COBIT.
- Have awareness of 1LOD to 3LOD operations
