Dairy Partners are a long established family owned British dairy company supplying UK and overseas markets. We manufacture a range of pasta filata cheese products including mozzerella and pizza cheese in various formats for some of the leading food companies across the globe.

We work in close partnership with British dairy farmers as well as customers delivering healthy cheese and other dairy products.

Position
To be responsible for the co-ordination, sourcing and monitoring of all supply chain admin activity and associated planning of production activity to ensure:

- Accurate reconciliation of production data & reporting
- Effective control of planning schedule, working in collaboration with key colleagues to communicate adequately across all levels.
- Receipting of deliveries onto ERP System & checking details/costs etc to support inventory management
- Monitoring of stock/materials and ensuring adequate ordering timescales are applied & maintained to balance supply and demand throughout the supply chain.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring information booked on SAP is accurately matched to the production records
- Investigating any incorrect bookings & preparing documents in relation to supply chain documents, reports, performance indicators and correspondence.
- Receipting deliveries onto SAP for sister company sales
- Full co-ordination and communication of production planning, working in liaison with relevant colleagues to effectively respond to demand, volumes and workflows.
- Communication of the planning documents to ensure all associated teams have awareness of and commitment to the planning schedule, identifying and solving problems
- Support the Manager in adapting the plan to respond to workflow issues, supply shortages and all other aspects that may need to be considered
- Effective reporting of stock levels for both internal and 3rd party warehouses (where applicable)
- Monitoring data recorded in SAP to ensure efficient and reliable data can be utilised for reporting to colleagues and suppliers when required.
- Co-ordination of supplies and activation of new supplier accounts to support the business needs, monitoring service levels achieved and feeding back to the relevant suppliers when service is less than expected.
- Providing administrative resource and support to the monthly stock take activity
- Cost effective purchasing of supplies and monitoring of supplier performance to feed into business review activity & audits.

**Requirements**:
Skills & Abilities:

- Strong IT skills with the confidence to work with Excel to record, extract and compare data
- Attention to detail and ability to demonstrate accuracy in all key areas of tasks assigned
- Ability to support the Line Manager and work effectively with other teams to ensure linkage across the teams and knowledge share with colleagues
- Effective Communicator with the ability to support negotiations and deal with supplier pressures
- Well organised and able set and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working unsupervised and being able to manage workload and priorities
- Show flexibility as and when required to ensure tasks are completed and support is offered across the business

Knowledge & Experience
- GCSE or above qualification in Maths & English
- Knowledge of Excel and data recording & reporting
- Experience of stock control and activity planning would be beneficial
- Previous experience of working in an SME Environment
- Experience of the Food/Drink sector would be advantageous
