We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our growing team at our purpose built facility in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. In this position, you will support and perform administrative, clerical and office functions to the supply chain department.

**Role responsibilities**:

- General support across all Supply Chain functions; Warehouse and Logistics, Purchasing, Planning and reporting.
- Arrange and coordinate both pallet and parcel shipments (Customer deliveries as well as R&D and production requirements)
- Ensure shipping and customs documents are accurate and fulfil requirements of international trade regulations
- Work with final packaging area to inform warehouse and planning departments of shipping schedule.
- Co-ordinate deliveries and collections with third party suppliers
- Make savings on cost of freight by consolidating and managing shipments where possible
- Request POD’s and provide tracking details
- File shipping and delivery papers.
- Chase vendor deliveries
- Respond to telephone calls and visitors ensuring all calls and enquiries are handled in a professional and polite manner, directing calls and taking messages as required
- Ensure the quality of your work is in line with the Quality Management Systems.
- Operate in conformance with the requirements of the quality system and with international trade requirements
- Inform Production or quality personnel of any issues regarding quality.
- Assist in maintaining systems to ensure compliance to ISO 9001,13485 and regulatory IVD requirements including good documentation practises
- Check and approve logistic invoices
**Skills and Experiences Required**:

- Prior experience of working in a logistics focused role (Desirable but not essential)
- Excellent organisational, planning, and administrative abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including excel
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work accurately and within strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Flexible approach to work
