**ICM In-Business WCR Quality Assurance Chief of Staff AVP - C12** Institutional Credit Management’s (“ICM”) objective is to provide an integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. Institutional Client Group (ICG) In-Business Quality Assurance is an integral part of the ICM organization. The ICG In-Business Quality Assurance function (QA) verifies that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied. ICG Management uses the results of the quality assurance reviews to assess the quality of the group's policies, procedures, programs, and practices as relates to the management of wholesale credit risk. The results help management identify operational weaknesses, risks associated with the function, training needs, and process deficiencies. This role reports directly to the Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) In-Business Quality Assurance Chief for WCR and serves to enhance the operating efficiency and effectiveness of the IBQA program. **Key responsibilities**: - Help support the overall strategic direction of the IBQA function from planning to execution for IBQA business needs with effectiveness, efficiency, and value-add, while aligning to overall ICM and firm-wide goals. - Help track and monitor team management’s progress on decisions and actions emerging from key initiatives and routine deliverables across the team (i.e., regulatory deliverables, tracking of Corrective Action Plans, goals) and ensuring critical matters are identified and escalated. - Assist leadership in driving development and providing scrutiny of management information that is used to oversee and management IBQA risks. - Help support the development of IBQA MCA (Manager s Control Assessment) program and liaising with ICM partners in establishing an effective control environment and risk & control culture. - Gather and coordinate information and materials to help drive communications for the IBQA Global Head and their organization - Support the Chief of Staff in the annual budget preparation process, determining the hiring plan and training requirements. - Liaise with and support the project management team involved with transformation and regulatory remediation work as required. - Provide support on process improvement initiatives and special projects. - Support the Global Head of WCR IBQA on internal projects and initiatives - Support WCR IBQA Voice of the Employee (VOE) as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives - Travel (less than 10%) **Skills/Competencies**: **Knowledge**: - Previous experience working directly with senior management preferable - Preferable to have quality control / quality assurance experience, including 3-5 years in banking, credit risk management, internal audit, loan review or quality assurance review function at an investment or large commercial bank - Understanding risk management and control frameworks obtained through experience in large financial organizations. - Understanding of QA policies and procedures and ability to help execute change seamlessly. - Grasp of issues identification, documentation, and remediation within the Quality Assurance process. - Experience in preparing presentations for seniors - Ability to produce complex reports both timely and accurately - Awareness and adherence to the control environment including Quality Assurance and Quality Control **Competencies**: - Evolving interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority - Organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manage time and priorities effectively - Sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority - Experience in preparing presentations for seniors **Leadership**: - Strategic orientation to ensure the ICM organization continues to be positioned as a thoughtful and proactive partner on driving best practices to support safety and soundness within ICM and Citi - Assists colleagues in identifying stretch opportunities to elevate individual and team performance and recognizes individuals based on performance. - Coach and mentor analysts to develop team strengths and improve weaknesses - Proven culture carrier **Technical**: - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) **Qualifications**: - **Job Family Group**: Risk Management - **Job Family**: Business Risk & Controls - **Time Type**: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
