Due to recently awarded tenders a specialist civil engineering contractor are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on two projects in Surrey with a combined value of £9M.

The company operate across the energy, water, telecoms and rail sectors and over the past ten years have increased their presence in these sectors significantly.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to work on a contract basis outside of IR35 for a minimum of 12 months.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

- Cost and Value management
- Preparation, maintenance and agreement of Project accounts
- Providing commercial and financial reporting information
- Ensure compliance with Milestone Infrastructure standards and procedures in respect of commercial activities
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Assist with project documentation
- Recording and administering change i.e. Compensation Events and Time
- Provide support and assistance to the operational team

Experience Required
- Suitable Senior Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of commercial success working on civil engineering or utility projects for tier 1 or tier 2 contractors.
- A thorough understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
